The 9th International Refractories and Abrasives Summit

As the Qiantang Tide surges and rises in the East, industry elites gathered to discuss the future of industrial development. From May 7 to 8, the 9th International Refractory and Abrasive Summit, organized by Asia Metal Network and co-sponsored by Inner Mongolia Hemei Green Materials Technology Co., Ltd. and Jinan Yuxiao Group DH Graphite Processing Co., Ltd., was successfully held.

With the theme “Capacity Reduction and Overseas Expansion,” the summit attracted over 120 industry peers from multiple countries. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on raw material supply and demand trends as well as price fluctuations, jointly analyzing the current status and long-term direction of the refractory and abrasive industry. The focus was on exploring new competitive advantages driven by green production and smart manufacturing under the “Dual Carbon” policy.

As a local enterprise deeply rooted in the graphite sector, our company’s General Manager, Zhao Gang of Qingdao Baohua New Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (Jinhui Graphite Group), was invited to attend and delivered a keynote presentation titled “How Graphite Beneficiation Enterprises Can Transition to Deep Processing and Break Through Current Challenges.” In his presentation, General Manager Zhao Gang drew on detailed data to objectively outline the global graphite supply landscape, conduct an in-depth analysis of the current development challenges facing the domestic graphite industry, and comprehensively showcase the diverse cutting-edge applications of graphite materials. By integrating the current industry landscape, he provided practical strategies and development directions for ore beneficiation enterprises to achieve transformation and upgrading and break through development bottlenecks.

Qingdao Jinhui Graphite Group was founded in 1999 and is based in Pingdu, Qingdao, Shandong—a core production area for high-quality flake graphite. The Group possesses substantial scale and strength, with multiple subsidiaries including Qingdao Baohua New Materials, Changyi Senhui New Materials, and Luobei Yunsan Carbon Industry. Its total investment exceeds 300 million yuan, and it currently employs nearly 800 people, including over 240 at its headquarters and nearly 100 professional technical staff.
